Set aside 30 minutes before each session to review that day's workbook section. The workbook arrives 3 days before the event. Clear your schedule completely for both days, because partial attendance significantly reduces results. Treat it like a retreat: phone off, door closed, no interruptions.
No. Beginners often have the most profound experiences because they haven't built up intellectual resistance to the process yet. Everything is guided step by step, and you don't need prior experience with magick or meditation to participate.
All sessions are recorded and available within 2 hours. That said, the live experience is significantly more powerful because the group field amplifies the work in ways a recording can't replicate. If at all possible, block off both days completely and attend live.
A course gives you information you study on your own time. The Working is a live, guided experience you go through with a group over two days, timed to the equinox. You're not watching lectures. You're doing the practices in real time with Jason and Temple leading you through them.
